Meet The Founder

Built from the sales floor. Grown from the land.

Hi, I’m Kelsey Brown — 2x Head of Sales, 10-year top sales performer, and founder of Heritage Hills Marketing.

For more than a decade, I’ve been responsible for revenue — first as a top individual contributor carrying a quota, and then as a 2x Head of Sales building teams and owning the number. I spent 10 years on the front lines of sales, managing my own pipeline, closing complex deals, and learning firsthand what actually moves revenue. Twice, I stepped into Head of Sales roles where I hired and coached reps, built the playbooks, sat in the forecast meetings, and felt the weight of every target we set. In those rooms where numbers were reviewed and decisions were made, one pattern kept showing up: marketing was almost always the lever no one was pulling correctly for rural and small businesses. I’ve sat in enough pipeline reviews to know exactly what marketing does — and doesn’t — do for a sales team. Heritage Hills Marketing exists to close that gap: giving rural businesses practical, sales-informed marketing that supports revenue instead of chasing vanity metrics.

I don’t come from a marketing agency. I come from a quota. I know what it feels like to miss one — and what it takes not to. That experience shapes every recommendation I make, every campaign I design, and every dollar I ask you to invest in marketing.

Outside of Heritage Hills Marketing, I’m based on our homestead in New Virginia, Iowa — raising my family, caring for our animals, and living the same rural life as the businesses I serve. That everyday connection keeps my work grounded in what actually matters to you and your customers.

Because when rural businesses grow their revenue, our communities grow stronger.
Rooted in rural. Amplifying the voice of small businesses.
